How IT Tech Match handles enquiries, applications and website data.

1. Who we are
IT Tech Match ("ITTM", "we", "us") is an IT recruitment and staff augmentation agency. Our website is ittechmatch.com. For data protection enquiries, contact us at hello@ittechmatch.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it through our website forms:
- Hiring enquiry form — email, role or hiring challenge, and any details you choose to include.
- Job application form — name, email, profile or CV link, optional note, selected role and consent.
Cookies and analytics. When you visit ittechmatch.com we ask for your consent before loading any non-essential cookies. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages are visited and how visitors find us. GA4 sets cookies (typically _ga and _ga_*) which expire after up to 24 months. IP addresses are anonymized and Google Signals / advertising features are disabled. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is sent to Google.
Strictly necessary storage. We use localStorage only to remember your cookie consent choice (key: ittm-cookie-consent). This does not require consent under GDPR / ePrivacy because it is essential to providing the service.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking Cookie preferences in the footer.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry or brief.
- To assess your application and match you with relevant roles.
- To keep you informed of relevant opportunities (with your consent).
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
We process your data on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interest — to respond to business enquiries from companies.
- Consent — for job applicants who explicitly agree to data processing for recruitment purposes.
- Contractual necessity — where we are engaged to find or place candidates.
5. Data retention
Candidate data is retained for up to 12 months from the date of submission unless you ask us to remove it sooner or we enter an active working relationship. Business enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months.
6. Third-party processors
We use the following services for this website and its forms:
- Formspree (formspree.io) — form submission processing for contact, brief and application forms. Data is transmitted securely and subject to Formspree's own privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — website usage analytics, loaded only after you allow analytics cookies. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.
- Netlify (Netlify Inc.) — website hosting and content delivery. Server access logs (IP, user-agent, request path) are retained by Netlify for short-term security and operational purposes.
- Calendly (Calendly LLC) — scheduling links open in a new tab. Calendly is a separate data controller with its own privacy policy.
- Cloud storage providers (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive) — when candidates paste a CV link, the file remains hosted by the chosen provider; we only follow the link.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at ittechmatch.com with the date of last update shown above.

Fonts are hosted with the website. Current public job listings are loaded from Supabase; visiting the job pages sends a request to that service. The application itself is submitted through Formspree.
